CHALLENGES TO OVERCOME TO LIVE ON THE MOON.

Astronauts and other explorers will need to consider the following challenges to overcome to live on the Lunar:

  1. ResourcesAstronauts will be required to access oxygen, water, and other life-sustaining resources. They can gather local assets on the lunar's surface and transform them into breathable air, drinking water, and more.
  2. Health risksThe lunar's harsh environment can pose significant health risks to astronauts. These risks include extreme temperatures, radiation, and the lack of an atmosphere or magnetic field
  3. Lunar dust: The fine, abrasive particles of lunar dust can damage spacesuits, clog filters and mechanical systems, and pose health risks if inhaled
  4. Thermal cyclingThermal cycling can cause materials to expand and contract, leading to fatigue and failure over time
  5. PackingAstronauts will necessitate to consider their basic needs for food, shelter, water, and air. They will also be limited in what they can carry due to the moon's lower gravity.
  6. CommunicationA radio can allow astronauts to talk with the Lunar Outpost and call for help
