The United  States is not considered the most educated country in the world, but it is known for its high-quality education system and its many curriculum choices:

  2. The Research and developmentUS colleges and universities are sought after for their research and development (R&D) capacities
  3. The Spending on educationThe US spends more on education than other countries. In 2014, the US spent an average of $16,268 per year to educate a student, which was above the global average of $10,759
However, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) ranks the US on the sixth level of adult education. The OECD's research project on the most educated countries in the world includes other top countries such as:
Canada, South Korea, Russia, Japan, Israel, Finland, United Kingdom, Estonia, and Norway.
