Barriers to access education

 Know the barriers to access education and think on overcoming them to access education. 

There are many barriers to access education, including:

.Poverty: Poverty is a major barrier to education, especially in the Philippines. Families may not be able to afford school fees, uniforms, and supplies, which can lead to children dropping out or not enrolling at all.

• Lack of access: Children may not have access to pre-primary education or regular schools. 
• Lack of resources: Children may not have access to quality aids and appliances, or affordable medical services
• Lack of awareness: Parents may not be aware of their children's rights, or the schemes and entitlements they are entitled to.

• Gender roles: Gender roles can stall progress towards providing quality education.

• Child labor: Children may be forced to work, which can prevent them from attending school. 
• Language barriers: Language barriers can make it difficult to provide quality education.

• Balancing responsibilities: Students may have difficulty balancing schoolwork with other responsibilities.

• Discrimination: Children with disabilities or from disadvantaged communities may be discriminated against and miss out on school.

• Academic skills: Students may have diminished academic skills.

• Psychiatric disabilities: Individuals with psychiatric disabilities may face unique challenges, such as mental illness symptoms and functional deficits.
