The Aviation in 2050 is expected to look very different from today, with Improvements in sufficiency, New technologies, and more sustainable practices. 

More efficient aircraft: Aircraft and engines will be more efficient, with improvements in design and operations.
New technologies: Electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft will be deployed, along with other new technologies.
Sustainable aviation fuels: The use of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) will increase.
Airports as green energy hubs: Airports will produce and deliver green energy, and use sustainable lighting and air conditioning.
Personalized baggage drop-off and pick-up: Passengers will be able to have their luggage sent to the airport from home or their hotel.
Integrated travel apps: Passengers will use apps to manage their journey, including reserving restaurants and accessing duty-free purchases.
Aircraft gliding: Passenger aircraft may glide down to land, which could reduce emissions and noise.Virtual reality rooms: Aircraft may have virtual reality rooms that can be used for a variety of purposes.
